They began speaking a language that they never knew before. Most of them were also given the gift of prophecy. They could give foretelling to their followers.

Centuries later, more Christians were given psychic abilities. Some had the power to heal people. Diseases and disorders disappear through prayer and meditation. Others could make prophecies like the prophets of old. Most of them though had divine visions. A lot of them were trusted by the people. These honest psychics were called as Saints.

Several millennia passed, in the 1400s or so, a disaster struck Christianity. The country of Spain became distrustful of anything supernatural. They lumped together psychic gifts from God with witchcraft and pagan rituals. The punishment was given by the Spanish Inquisition. They were torture and death. It would take a long time before Christians learned the error of their ways and allow psychics to live in peace. There were even Saints who were tortured and killed during the Spanish Inquisition.

Centuries later the fear of the supernatural spread to America and it created the Salem Witch Trials. Any hint of supernatural capabilities as well as conversion to other religion was investigated. Anyone connected to acts of paganism or Satanism was put on trial. Some were eventually killed or died due to torture.

In present times, the fear of the supernatural still exists. However, Christians have become stronger in their faith. Most have realized that psychic abilities are blessings from God. Anyone can now go to Christian psychic readers and ask for guidance. You can find them online or on television.

Just be careful though. Some frauds still exist and give fake Christian psychic readings. It is important to know that when in doubt of psychics, always return to your faith. You can always talk directly to God and ask for guidance. He will show you the answer in many ways.
