A psychic is a person with the ability to see information hidden from the normal senses of others. These people have highly developed Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) which allows them to see the unseen. The term is also used to describe people who have the ability to predict what others think based on ‘reading’ the gestures and other physical signs exhibited by another individual.

History shows that psychics have always existed. In the ancient times, some people used to read the stars in order to predict the future. The ancient Mayan civilization used astrology much in order to determine the future of their kingdom. And, of course, the predictions were almost entirely accurate, making them the lords of their continent. Their doom, too, was predicted. Their psychics saw that they will be visited by a god who wears an unusual clothes and rides an unusual beast. Then came the Spanish invaders headed by Cortez who wore a steel armour and rode a horse – a creature unknown in America.

The Christian bible, too, had a lot of psychics. Christian psychics refer to the old testament to prove to doubters that, indeed, psychics are real. Even the arrival of Jesus was predicted by soothsayers. Of course, they weren’t really considered as Christian psychics back then. They were called prophets.

However, as though suddenly twisting the tale, the Christian churches suddenly claimed the maliciousness of Christian psychics. They now say that the bible does not consider that Christian psychics exist. According to them, no one but the prophets of old are gifted to accurately predict the future. They were the only ones who received the information directly from heaven.

Therefore, the Christian psychics we know today are not real; that they get their information from the devil.

If these were true, how come honest psychics have helped so many? Why is it that Christian psychics have many followers even today, in this age of Science and technology?

It is unfair to say that the devil provides for the Christian psychics. Just like you and I, they also believe in the bible, they also believe in Jesus Christ as their God. But the difference is, they are gifted with the ability to see beyond what you see.

But this is something that should be feared. Instead, it must be a reason for rejoicing. These Christian psychics are gifts from heaven, just like the prophets of the bible. They are sent by God in order for us to know where we are going, to avoid disaster, and to live happy lives.

Furthermore, there is nothing wrong if we seek their advice, there is absolutely nothing wrong if we seek their help. Would you be judged as a bad Christian if you miss a deceased loved one so much and you want to talk to him or her? Of course, not! God will not be angry, He knows of these things, and He knows what will make you happy.

God loves us so much that he continuously gives us the opportunity to change our future.
