A lot of scientific studies have debunked the truth behind psychic readings. Most of them have successfully proven the falsity of some who claim themselves to be psychics.

Lately, however, some police organizations around the world reported that they sometimes required the services of psychics in order to solve cases which have long been forgotten. In fact, they even have created a specialized unit called the Psychic Unit.

Of course, these police authorities understand the need to sift through the many psychics around. They are well aware that there are only a few who are truly real and honest psychics. Most of them are fakes, the police believe.

So, how come they believe in psychics now? How was a very scientific and very technical agency forced to believe in psychics? They weren’t forced, actually. Like all who might witness, they were initially shocked and dumbfounded, some even merely shrugged it off.

Anyway, there was once this case in the United States when a body was found somewhere in New York. It was truly the perfect crime. There were no clues, no evidence, everything they found only led to a dead end.

Then, as they were about to give up, someone contacted the New York Police Department. The caller who was from Alaska claimed to be an honest psychic and that he knew who and where the murderer was. They laughed at it, but protocol required them to get the ‘honest’ psychic for questioning. After all, he might have leads.

So, they talked with the self-declared honest psychic. At the first few minutes, the interrogators were having a hard time keeping their laughter inside. But the laughter turned to dead silence as the psychic told them the exact detail of the crime scene despite the fact that he lived a thousand miles away from the place where the crime took place. He claimed that he talked with the spirit of the victim that is why he knew everything; including the killer.

Of course, they didn’t entirely believe the honest psychic. They even investigated the background of the person, but they found him clean. Soon, they went after the suspected killer as mentioned by the somewhat unbelievable yet seemingly honest psychic.

When they finally triangulated the location of the suspect, they moved in. They didn’t really intend to capture him, they merely wanted to ask some questions. When the suspect saw them, however, he frantically ran away. After some seconds, the suspect was captured.

The investigation didn’t last long after this incident, for the suspect admitted to the crime, so he was immediately charged with first-degree murder. All of these, the NYPD realized, would have been impossible if not for the psychic.

That is why, up to this day, the police continue to deal with honest psychics. They may not always get accurate psychic readings, but they do get results most of the time.

Because of this, the scientific community is now, more than ever, more baffled by the puzzle of the psychics.
